The Committee of Presidents (COP) meeting is held twice a year in rotating regions of the United States. There are around 250 branch presidents from across the country who attend the meetings and the attendees make up the "Committee."
This meeting is not required under the NALC Constitution, however the meeting is very popular to both Branch Presidents and our National President. The Committee of Presidents meeting gives branch representatives the unique opportunity to discuss local issues one on one with our National President. This interaction also allows for our national president to get a pulse of the local workplace environments and other pressing issues in our branch, districts and States.
The Committee of Presidents is managed by five Co-Chairs elected by the Committee.
